Seth has never had much luck with men. Why he is constantly attracted to the gorgeous straight guy who always ends up ripping out his heart is something only a psychologist would be able to understand. Seth only knows he needs to stay away from them. All of them.
Except that Marc, a charismatic “ladies man,” comes strolling into the shipping department where Seth works and proceeds to tear down every single wall of security Seth has built to protect himself. There is no way Seth can resist. And now hell has to be paid by Seth’s heart. Again.
Marc has only dated women...okay, bedded them. But after taking to bed yet another woman from his office and getting slapped this time—hard—for not being able to even “perform,” he realizes something has to change. Yet Marc has no idea that “change” would be in the gender of the partner he’ll take into his bed...or into his heart...

Cute Read
By S. Asher
This book was provided by the author via IndiGo Marketing & Design in exchange for an honest review.
Marc is a top salesman at the company where Seth works in the warehouse. Seth thinks Marc is hot, as does every other woman, but Seth knows Marc only by is reputation as a player and that he’s, unfortunately for Seth, straight. Little does Seth know, Marc has his eye on Seth and once Marc decides he wants someone, he pursues them until he gets them. When Marc starts flirting with Seth, he’s not quite sure what to do. He’s been burned more than once by straight guys scratching their curiosity so he has no interest in getting hurt again. He tries to rebuff Marc but eventually gives in. The problem though, is that Marc dumped his coworker and Seth supposed good friend right before he pursued Seth. This becomes a problem throughout the story as she turns out to be quite the nasty character despite Seth’s continued attempts to keep her as his friend. Her displays of jealousy and homophobia are rather disgusting and are the few times I want to choke Seth for what seems like him being naïve. I think it just shows what a good and genuine person Seth is. I was okay with Marc seeming to switch easily to men from women. I think it explained why he never lasted more than two weeks with a woman. He was always dissatisfied with women and didn’t know why. When he found he was attracted to Seth and then started dating him, he realized it just felt right being with him. He was very open to being with a man and never questioned it and when he found the right guy he realized he was gay. I did appreciate that he didn’t spend a lot of time tormenting over the decision. It felt right and he accepted it.
The turmoil comes into the story when a few weeks into their relationship, Marc has to go out of town unexpectedly. The nasty “friend” of Seth’s helps to fuel the rumor mill at work and stirs up doubts in Seth’s already shaky confidence when she sees Marc hugging a pretty, distraught, pregnant woman at work. When Seth can’t get ahold of Marc for couple of weeks he expects that Marc has left him. He’s devastated and doesn’t want to stay around so he decides to entertain his cousin’s employment offer in another city. Marc shows back up though with the pretty woman in tow but with profuse apologies, plausible explanations, and professions of love for Seth.
Seth doesn’t readily take Marc back. Marc does have to work to earn Seth’s trust for leaving with no word even though Marc’s reason’s for leaving were good ones. In the end, the pretty woman, who at first was not a nice person, turns out to be a decent person and their issues with her are dealt with. There is a slight twist to her plot line. Seth’s nasty friend is nasty and will always be nasty. Nothing will redeem her.
Overall it was an enjoyable read. The writing was good. The characters were likable, and the story was easily believable. Everyone enjoys a happy or at least a satisfactory ending. Hurri Cosmo has done another rock solid job. I would recommend it to others.

Worth a read.

I received an ARC in exchange for a fair, unbiased review.
When I read the reviews for this book, I took them in stride, knowing that often most reviews never really reflected what I ended up thinking of the books I read. But this one hit me in the same place as it apparently did others.
I wanted to like Marc. I really did. And he did have redeeming qualities. But he was really a douche for the most part. Until really close to the end, I found myself constantly wondering why anyone would put up with Marc's flighty-ness and seeming inability to really care for someone. He seemed so shallow. He did begin to redeem himself close to the end, but was still all over the place depth-wise.
Seth, on the other hand, was prone to whiny-ness and had a total lack of inner strength, leading to all the thoughts of doubt, both in himself and Marc. The way he jumped to such far-fetched conclusions drove me crazy at times. I did like how sweet he was, though.
I absolutely HATED both Jenny and Sandy. They were kind of like the same person in some ways. Both of them were ALL about themselves and completely unable to see the need to care for others in an unselfish way. I was really glad to see how both were handled by the author in the end..
All in all, the book was really well written, extremely easy to read and was fully fleshed out as a decent story. Those were the reasons for the 4 star rating I gave it. But the characters were really tough to connect with in most ways and that made it somewhat difficult to enjoy the book as I hoped.

Genre: {M/M} Romantic Comedy

Marc is a prize catch, according to all the ladies in the office. However, when Marc visits the warehouse and sets eyes on Seth, Marc suddenly realizes that he has been pursuing the wrong gender.
Forgetting Yesterday is an amusing story of discovery. The plot showcases some of the sneaky tactics used by straight women desperate for a boyfriend plus the excitement of seduction. The characters are believable.
Marc is a salesman; the ability to be charming to people is part of what makes him successful at his job. His well groomed good looks also add to his appeal. The women are the primary seducers; Marc simply complies with the female’s wishes. But once Marc realized he was attracted to Seth, Marc was forced to become the seducer since Seth declined to date Marc.
Seth does not hide his sexuality, but he does not advertise it either. Only a few of Seth’s co-workers knew he was gay. Because Marc was considered a straight man, Seth thought Marc was merely curious. Past experience with straight men had taught Seth to be wary of a relationship with Marc.
Hurri Cosmo has created a thoroughly engaging as well as an incredibly enjoyable saga. The storyline is amazingly energetic and touching.
