Great overall algebraic geometry text - goes into schemes and beyond.

Never heard of this text, but I'm assuming it's a good supplement for the big-named books such as Hartshorne, etc. The writing is easy to follow, and the exercises are fun! You will learn past just general notions of algebraic geometry and even get into schemes, which is why I sought this book out.
