Diego de la Torre is officially an outlaw now, a full-fledged member of The Seventh Sons Motorcycle Club. The werewolf MC runs the wild lands of Sycamore with ease. At least until a dead body shows up and points to them as the culprits.
Detective Maxim Dwyer presses the Seventh Sons hard, but there are other guns in play. California bikers look to expand their drug trade. A mercenary outfit seeks revenge. Top that with an overbearing FBI agent who undermines local police, and both detective and outlaw have their hands full.
Brothers or not, Sycamore's about to get a whole lot bloodier.

"Intense and clever - a complex layering of intrigue and the paranormal. Like Sons of Anarchy with werewolves."

From the Inside Flap
Excerpt:
The smoking pit, as some called it, was just a stretch of dirt in the backyard of Sycamore Lodge. There was no place to sit except for the small stoop immediately next to the door, so patrons wandered in the empty space whenever they needed a moment of downtime. The smoking pit was a graveyard of customer complaints and underhanded plots, scattered cigarette butts, like headstones, the only evidence of the past.
"What the fuck do you have me involved with?" demanded Maxim, his mask of complacency torn away. Gaston and the detective stood against the back wall at a distance from the few smokers who might overhear. "Am I protecting a bunch of murderers here?"
Gaston worked his jaw, unused to this sort of antagonism, but he took Maxim seriously enough. "It wasn't us. I swear."
"You don't know who could've done this?"
"No way."
Maxim looked Gaston in the eye, trying to glimpse any sign of deception. The Seventh Sons president showed nothing but weariness.
"Diego said you backed us. You released Clint. That says something, right?"
"I don't think he's involved," admitted Maxim. "But he's being an asshole with that fancy lawyer. You too, getting in my way at the clubhouse."
"That's a sensitive area," said Gaston. "It's in both our interests for some things to stay hidden."
Maxim winced at his inclusion in the motorcycle club's inner circle. Partners in crime, partners in time. Gaston was a fool if he thought the detective would be a partner in anything illegal.

Great Read!
By Barbara
The second installment of the Sycamore Moon series The Blood of Brothers is an interesting tale that involves a host of different characters. After reading the first book (The Seventh Sons) I am completely invested in the main characters and story lines. I loved where the story started out and ended up. Even though I am not a guy I felt the brotherhood between the Seventh Sons. I do have one bone to pick – Kayda. Her character seemed so wimpy and weak, but I realize now that she needed to be that way in the beginning. May I suggest a love interest in the next book? (Just throwing it out there). I took my time reading this book and enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you to the author for letting me read this book in exchange for an honest review.

Initial Book Review of The Blood of Brothers
By Phillip Tomasso III
A full review is coming. However, in short -- The Blood of Brothers is a equally as compelling as the first in the series. Domino Finn just amazes me with his storytelling. His characters are so well-defined, I know them. I know each and every one. The plot is intense and clever. With multiple motorcycle clubs, FBI involvement, and the Marshalls, and Sycamore's only detective . . . there is a lot going on.
Murders. Planted bodies. Family rivals. Drug / weapon smuggling . . . it's all in there.
(But honestly, more to come!)

Still loving the Seventh sons
By dailey
Where does The Blood of Brothers rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Domino Finn has this new side of the paranormal that I've never seen before. It is a detective story-line dealing with the paranormal from the human side of things. That is why his books are on the top of my list of, I love this series. And yes please keep it coming!
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
Yes the author keeps you on edge from beginning to end. He main character is a detective that understands that keeping an eye on the wolf biking gang is a must. He also understands that he has to protect the people and the law. He is consistently finding himself walking that middle line in the road.
Which character – as performed by Jason Jewett – was your favorite?
Book 2 is not centered around Detective Maxim Dwyer as book 1 was but Maxim is also my favorite. I can't help but feel he is the true hero in the story-line no matter what anyone else does right or wrong. I like that thin line that he walks for the paranormal and the normal people. Protecting us all from those things we can't protect ourselves from.
Jason Jewett really surprised me this time. When he added the new voices to this story line. American Indians, Mexican accents, and American English bikers. I think he has an amazing talent. His voice really adds that extra drama to the story-line.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
No it too long for that but that is nice too. You are entertained for more than a day for an addictive story well written.
Any additional comments?
Just that I really enjoy getting lost into well written story's. I'm always looking for something new and different and Domino Finn fills that need for new and different.
