Fantastic book!
I am reading the book and agree completely with what Gerald is suggesting. Fortunately I have wonderful marriage and want to keep it that way. Had the pleasure to personally meet the author and respect him tremendously for his honesty and integrity.

Wonderful read

I have been following Gerald for months and he has such wonderful insight on marriage and life in general. This book was a wonderful read with great advise and heartfelt ideas. No marriage is perfect and Gerald gives you some tools to help strengthen your relationship. Thank you Gerald for sharing a piece of YOU!

Anyone needing help in marriage or relationships, this book is for you!

This book was everything I was expecting it to be and more. I wasn't needing it for marriage, because I've never been married. I was in a relationship for 22 years, and he left our 2 kids and I for a newer model(his words) almost 2 years ago. Gerald Rogers has a way of putting things in perspective for anyone. Husbands, wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, single people, etc. Anyone can learn a thing or two from this book. I'm learning what I want the next time around, and this book has been extremely helpful. Maybe it will be marriage, and maybe not, but I'm figuring out how I want and deserve to be treated.
Gerald, you are an amazing man, and you deserve a second chance at love, and I know you'll get it one day!! Thank you for taking a failed marriage and turning in to something incredible!! You are going to help WAY more then 1000 couples/people.

Marcus and Varshan are two of my favorite characters from the Prides of the Moon series so it was nice to catch up with them again. Noah is a perfect match for the two males. He is all male from his purple Mohawk to his tight butt. He is strong enough to dominate Varshan and enjoys being commanded by Marcus. Now that the three of them are together, I can't wait to see what happens next.

This is book 5 in my 'Prides of the Moon' series. Each short story can be easily read and enjoyed on their own, but if you would like to know 'the whole story' I'd suggest reading them in order. Bi-sexuality is the norm for my shifters and each book has a different pairing of just about every gender combo possible, so I'll label them so you aren't surprised. What floats one person's boat may sink anothers. ;)

Not one of my favorites from this author

I'm a sucker for m/m/m when it's done right, but this one didn't jive with me. It could be because of its short length (being in the 1Night Stand series) because I know Ann Mayburn is capable of writing serious heat between men. Its a quick read but, even knowing that, I found myself flipping through pages to get to the hot scenes... which then only somewhat held my attention. If you're new to this author, I recommend skipping this series and starting with The Breaker's Concubine. It's longer and has both f/m and m/m but the characters are better developed and the heat is more believable.

Ms Mayburn's world building abilities get stronger with each episode of the Moon Pride series. She lays down rules and then has these amazing shifters and magicians fit their personalities into the tracks they have to follow. What began as a character-driven series has morphed into more of a plot-driven series and with this short story left me very anxious for the next one, hopefully when we will meet the beautiful Alpha herself, Giselle. These are lovely, sexy short stories that together build a stunning vision.

Can I just say... Linda's books are like a Beyonce song. They're "Flawless"!

You might've read about my #LindaKageWeek I had about a month ago where I read almost every one of her books in one week. Yea, I'm that obsessed with this chick. She writes book and book that I just loooooove, and I mean LOOOOOVE. They make me all giddy and happy, then shocked next, then back to smiley and blushing, and then leave me crying. They all make me shed tears, sad and happy ones. But each one of her stories ends on a positive note, and she always hits it out of the park. :)

This book is great. I could not stop reading and the scenes were exceptional. I cannot wait for the next book. Gideon had his hands full with the boys. I hope Jack and Garret find love they both deserve it.

First, I would would be remiss if I didn't put a warning in my review. There is some mental illness and abuse in this book. I use to know someone much like Scotty. If they were to read this, it more than likely would be a 'trigger'. With that said...

I liked it but WHY DON'T THEY TALK! UGH! Because they're young I suppose. lol

This one is full of angst! (I'm a angst wimp tho) Angst in what is happening to Scotty, in what happens to the twins and my goodness what is going on between Jack and Garrett! They just squeeze my heart.

We still don't find out who the bad guy is, but we do get a better idea I think. And I was RIGHT! See review of book #1.

I really love the other boys too, Lucas especially. He's really sweet and seems a friend to all. Oh and I adore Gideon. Of course, no surprise as I love the man who inspired the character! ;)

Cannot wait for book three. Need to find out the creeper gets his due! And I need Jack & Garrett to fix their... 'stuff' and have a HEA!

I originally wrote this story in 2007 after living for nearly a decade in the heavily crime ridden and gang infested MacArthur Park neighborhood of downtown Los Angeles. Two girls who had spent their lives in the pristine suburbs of the midwest and southwest, my 67 year old mother and I made a comfortable and idyllic home in this most unlikely community. The gritty side of gentrification

Many parts of my city (including our once deserted "downtown") are in various stages of gentrification. I'm happy to see older homes and buildings preserved, but most gentrification (like "urban renewal") simply displaces low-income families to make way for expensive, trendy housing for the affluent. Tax money set aside to improve "blighted" areas enriches the developers, but does nothing toward providing our greatest need - safe, comfortable, AFFORDABLE housing.

This intrepid author and her even-more-intrepid mother moved into an old apartment in L.A.'s infamous McArthur Park area. Yes, there were homeless and drugs and crime, but there was also a tight network of hard-working Latino families who looked after each other and these two white Hippie chicks. It's a charming, thought-provoking read. I do hope that Angie will write more about her life and travels. She has stories to tell and the talent to tell them well and entertainingly.

A missionary for seventeen years, Bryan Webb is the author of Hungry Devils and Spend and Be Spent. Residing in Vanuatu since 2002, he has widely traveled the nation's islands giving him unprecedented knowledge of Vanuatu's people, geography and culture.

Married with four children, Bryan currently resides in Luganville, Vanuatu, with his wife Renee, his two youngest sons, and two dogs.

Perfect for the whole family!

This book is written by a long time Missionary living in Vanuatu. It is a collection of short stories of his experiences there. Some are sad, some are funny, some are tear-jerkers, but ALL are interesting! You will feel the heat of the jungle, hear the beat of the drums and feel like you are walking along with Bryan as he shares his life as a Missionary. I went to one of the islands on a medical mission trip led by Bryan several years ago, and I was instantly transported back to the island of Tanna and wishing I were back there again after reading this book. A great read, would be perfect for reading a story out loud to the whole family each night as part of evening devotionals.

Excellent and impacting!

I love the short stories that bring to life the happenings of such an exotic and far away place! You will have GREAT difficulty putting this one down, and when you are done, you will feel as if you had been there sharing in the many adventures that God has taken the author on! Ultimately, your eyes will be opened to what life is like for missionaries who leave everything they've known behind to see the Gospel preached to the 'ends of the earth,' and your heart will be stirred to discover your own part of the story!
