Totally Unexpected conclusion and a MUST READ... but you've got to read the first book in the series first!

I was really brutally honest about Lisa's last book On 4/19, which is obviously the first book in this series. I gave her three stars.... not for quality of writing but for a perfect heroine and hero who had a fairy tale meeting and courtship. I hate perfect situations with perfect people. :) Just not interesting to me. Lisa's first book--Unmending the Veil--is so A-MA-ZING that I found On 4/19 to be a let down. I loved how her first book was completely not what you would have expected and yet so well written and engaging. It was filled with deep spiritual truths that were compelling and inspiring. 4/19 was not that. I let readers know in my review. :)
However, this book Beyond 4/20 was COMPLETELY unexpected and seriously... I LOVED IT!!! Total return to what I loved about her writing--unexpected and left me wondering how in the world she was going to develop this to be believable... but she did! Again, so many great spiritual truths and encouragement for me in my own life. Unfailing love, unconditional love, and redemption again all beautifully weaved to make an amazing book. (I've already read many parts of it twice!) In addition, she is really great at writing about romance and passion without going too far... but not leaving it out either! I love that. I cried lots of tears reading this book. I'm very impressed, and this was so worth the read! I must say... you really should read the first book if you want to appreciate this one for what it is! Even though I didn't rate the first book so well, I would definitely change that in light of the whole story. I'll give it a 4. :) Read them both, and you will not regret it!!

Easily One of the BEST Christian Romances Ever

Next to On 4\19, this is one the best I have ever read. Lisa has a gift\ministry of writing that pulls you into the lives of her characters. I have learned so much about life, love and my own journey through life with those I love and especially with my journey to know and love Jesus. Lisa's books make my heart sing at times with joy and break with a life changing sorrow at other times. An author that has the ability to cause such a range of emotions and at the same time causes me to reflect at my own personal relationships and especially my personal relationship with Jesus is a very gifted and talented author. I have read all three of Lisa's books now, and they have all been life changing in wonderful ways. I would recommend this book and all her books without any reservations whatsoever. Thank you Lisa for sharing your special gift with others. I hope and pray you write for many years to come. Your books have made me a much better person and have changed my relationships with my family, with myself and most importantly, Jesus. I am anxiously awaiting for your next book , Deceiver, to come out soon. Do yourself a a favor and get Lisa's books: On 4\19, Beyond 4\20 and Unmending The Veil. Your life will never be the same. Lisa, job well well done.

An Amazingly Redemptive Story!

This book is amazing! You don't want to miss what happens next in the continuing saga of John, Chelsea, and Tuck's story. It is wonderfully romantic, extremely adventurous, but more than anything, it is incredibly redemptive. This book teaches deep lessons about God's sovereignty, grace, and relentless love for US! I went into the book predicting what would happen, but the journey was anything but predictable.There are some awesome twists and turns in this beautiful story. This author has an amazing gift of conveying deep spiritual truths in her stories. Be warned and be prepared: It is a very emotionally-charged read. I laughed, I cried, I got angry. I searched my own heart because God speaks in this book. All of her books make me want to know and love God more... better. Read the first one--On 4/19, then without hesitation, please read the sequel, Beyond 4/20. Her other book, Unmending the Veil, is a life-changer too! Lisa Heaton is my NFA! (New Favorite Author) Yay, Lisa!...you did it again!
