Awesome Book

This is a great book full of great information. Love his writing style this book hold your attention and offer so much great information I will not look at food in the same way. This is not like any other book I have read on weight loss or being healthy. It explains how to live a healthier life and the value of what we put in our bodies. This is a must read if want to change the way you feel and are looking for good information.

Eye-opening and ground breaking read

I have had a love-hate relationship with diet, fitness, and nutrition nearly all of my life. If it is considered good for me, I probably won't like it and the actions that make me feel good, like exercise, aren't usually at the top of my list of things to do each day. I have tried many fad diets over the years in hopes of beating the system and they simply don't work. I either feel crappy on them or just get short-term gains. I was intrigued by author Peter Greenlaw's book and the hope for a long-term solution and was really impressed with "Why Diets are Failing Us".
Greenlaw's book revolutionizes the way we look at nutrition, by identifying what the real issues are and giving some solid direction for change. In essence, facts are presented that show how our bodies have been polluted by various toxins and what this does to overall health and metabolism. To say that this affects a person's weight would be an understatement. Also the foods that most of us eat do not contain the proper nutrients and fad diets only make things worse. In order to combat these issues, there are several things that need to be done but adding a particular type of cleansing to one's regime is key to any realizing any lasting results.
I found Greenlaw's book to be very credible and easy to follow. I appreciated the numerous personal stories that were included in the book and I am definitely ready to ditch the fad diets in favor of something more proven. Well done.
