This book came out of the application of Ignatian Imaginative Prayer. To make the stories most realistic, they have been well researched for historical authenticity. Therefore, not only is it a joy to be inspired while reading it, it is also enjoyable to learn about the culture, geography, politics and religion of the First Century.

Cheryl Ann Wills is an author and entrepreneur. From childhood through college and the workplace, she has been a writer. Her writing varies from non-fiction to children’s stories. Her passion is to give back to society by making a difference. She and her husband, Ed, have three fabulous daughters, an equally fabulous son-in-law, and one crazy happy dog. Captivating!!

I was quite moved by Ms. Wills style of writing in Who Is Jesus? She brings stories of the bible to life through characters that we can relate to – what they experienced, what they think, and how they feel about living in Jesus’ time. As you read, you become the person who encountered Jesus and can feel their curiosity, their humility and their joy in the experiences they have with Christ. Ms. Wills captures Jesus’ compassion for sinners as well as the love God has for us to send his Son to suffer for our salvation. The reflective questions after each story are uniquely thoughtful and will cause you to see things around you in a whole new light.

Helped me understand the Bible Stories of my childhood

All my life I've been reading the stories of Jesus in the Bible with blinders on. As I read Who is Jesus? the stories I know by rote became "living color". Suddenly I could look around and see the environment, smell the dirt, and feel the emotion in the people. She has successfully built a bridge between a story from Sunday School and the life changing event for those people of Palestine. Well done!

Beautifully woven Biblical stories in a first hand account

Love the stories in this book as it puts in a first hand account of if we were there. Brings home the stories in a personal way. We can ask ourselves how we might have responded to Jesus had we been there when he was here on earth and among us. I often wonder who I would have been on the sidelines as Jesus made his way to the cross. I pray I was walking beside him as he walks beside us, strengthening us every step of the way. You will enjoy this beautiful book also and think of your own journey.
